Enjoy Nantucket in the Winter

After today’s blizzard conditions and 65 MPH winds one might wonder what’s to love about Nantucket in the winter.  While the weather has been a bit chilly lately – Nantucket can be quite beautiful in the winter. The island is calm and quiet – a great place to escape to with that special person in your life for Valentine’s Day. Cozy up by a fire and then indulge in some delicious gourmet chocolates and sip on some bubbly. Sounds like a perfect Valentine’s day right? The since you probably have President’s day off – wake up early Monday morning – get a delicious pastry or two, some hot coffee before heading out to see how beautiful the island is in the winter. While many businesses close down for the winter months there are some restaurants that are open year round.
