The sign outside has a picture of a leather punch on it and leaves no doubts or ambiguity about the main purpose of this store.  As you walk into the small shop the first thing that you notice is the smell of leather goods.  I fell in love with this store when a friend of mine worked here for several years making leather bags, purses, and belts.  Besides fine leather goods the store also has a menagerie of other fascinating things.  …

One of our favorite places to grab a Cup of Joe is at The Bean Coffee Shop.  A charming coffee shop located in the Heart of Nantucket, The Bean is a fixture of island life for locals and visitors alike.  The Bean is open Sunday – Thursday 6:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. and Friday – Saturday 6:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.  They specialize in expresso based drinks but you can choose a fantastic house blend coffee or a single origin bean, individually extracted and brewed with a Trifecta automatic french press.  I learned from the locals……
