Owner, Lorene Ireland is an accomplished painter, sculptor, and glass maker. Her gallery is easy to spot with the trademark bright yellow door and bright yellow Adirondack chair. It’s a must see if you walking the shops along Old South Wharf.

One of our favorite places to grab a Cup of Joe is at The Bean Coffee Shop. A charming coffee shop located in the Heart of Nantucket, The Bean is a fixture of island life for locals and visitors alike. The Bean is open Sunday – Thursday 6:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. and Friday – Saturday 6:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. They specialize in expresso based drinks but you can choose a fantastic house blend coffee or a single origin bean, individually extracted and brewed with a Trifecta automatic french press.
