Brant Point Lighthouse
The Brant Point Lighthouse welcomed thousands of visitors to the island last weekend for the Nantucket Daffodil Festival with it’s large beautiful daffodil wreath. The cobblestone streets in the heart of Nantucket were a buzz with visitors taking in the festivities.
We couldn’t resist capturing the moment for everyone to see. Below giant daffodils Victoria MacKenzie-Childs and Mary Collins stand atop a 1961 Land Rover Series IIA 88 during the classic car parade on Main Street welcoming visitors to the Antique Car show. And boy did they do a wonderful job putting a smile on everyone’s face! Which is why we want to say “Thank You” for making our day!
Next we were off to capture some of the beautiful antique car decorations. We really liked this little red car’s daffodil wreath with vinyl 45 record attached.
At noon, the antique cars wind through town to the charming village of Siasconset for the Annual Daffodil Tailgate Picnic and this little red car packed a really cool picnic in their trunk. Who wouldn’t want to hang out with them?
So some of our favorite things were: this oh so cute golden retriever…
These people dressed in Daffodil attire…
And this tailgate picnic décor…
We loved these amazing classic cars…
