The Club Car

The Club Car is a restaurant on Nantucket that speaks to the timelessness of classic cuisine, continental-style dining and Old World mannerisms. Located at the foot of Main Street, just a short walk from Straight Wharf (where the ferry docks) – The Club Car is a fun “cozy, little spot” with great ambiance, service, and atmosphere. There is never any question about the food here. It’s always outstanding! If you’re a true lobster lover, get the lobster roll during the summer. No frills here; straight-up lobster, mayo and a few spices. It’s one of the best on Nantucket.

It’s very lively bar atmosphere in the old club car is tiny but awesome and was once featured on the T.V. show Wings. There’s a piano that is played nightly with sing-a-longs during the summer.  Certainly worth adding to your bucket list for your summer escape to Nantucket.
