A favorite place for visitors with young children. The Jetties beach has a nice long sandy beach, calm waters, the Jetties Beach Bar and Restaurant, and public rest rooms. Just a short distance from the town – this beach is popular for July 4th, the Boston Pops, and the annual sandcastle and sculpture event in mid August.

One of the best beaches to go to on Nantucket is Eel Point. Located on the western end of the North shore – it is the best beach on Nantucket for collecting seashells (one of our favorite things to do).
