After today’s blizzard conditions and 65 MPH winds one might wonder what’s to love about Nantucket in the winter. While the weather has been a bit chilly lately – Nantucket can be quite beautiful in the winter. The island is calm and quiet – a great place to escape to with that special person in your life for Valentine’s Day. Cozy up by a fire and then indulge in some delicious gourmet chocolates and sip on some bubbly. Sounds like a perfect Valentine’s day right? The since you probably have President’s day off – wake up early Monday morning – get a delicious pastry or two, some hot coffee before heading out to see how beautiful the island is in the winter.
