Down on the Old South Wharf is the charming, compact outpost of Peter England, which is now run by Kari England and her brother. This store carries traditional, very wearable soft cotton sweaters for men and women, as well as high-end exotic blends of silk and bamboo. These sweaters are perfect for cool evenings on the sea and if you can’t find something to suit your needs, they offer custom orders. A few years ago they opened an annex a few doors up the wharf called the Yachting Collection. This collection of clothing is totally up our alley – lots of navy, ivory, and nautical stripes.
